The Arcadia Animal Rescue Sanctuary is a proposed plan to bring acres of educational, rescue, veterinary and "Arcadia" on earth facilities. The Main donated designs are envisioned as an architectural and educational landmark to serve as an example of the extent of possibilities to end animal cruelty and give back to our furry friends that we share earth with.

Challenge

Every successful project is the fruit of hard work and aid from the community and Arcadia is no different. We plan to create a heavenly environment for abused animals while providing education about animal cruelty. Imagine a welcoming facility where animals are saved, communities are educated for free & animals are adopted into loving new families. We aim for a 100% sustainable rescue with ZERO Carbon footprint.

First of its kind.

Arcadia Animal Sanctuary was a joint volunteer architect collaboration with Arcadia Animal Rescue & R Design to design an animal sanctuary revolving around the ultimate best care for our furry friends. Everything from A to Z is designed to excellence and highest standards.

Ambient Lighting

Many shelter dogs experience high levels of stress during their rescue stays due to overcrowded, loud and dull kennels that they live in. Blue and violet ambient lighting is implemented into every kennel to induce relaxing colors that cycle throughout the day.

Noise cancellation

Every interior kennel space is designed with soundproof technology to provide the uttermost rest for our rescue friends during their stay.

Air filtration & Calming non -concentrated natural oil infusions

Our sanctuary interior design will be equipped with HEPA Air Filters that circulate clean air only that removes at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm). Additionally, a first of its kind calming essential oil designed for dogs is implemented for aromatherapy in animals with high stress levels.

Net zero emissions

Our sanctuary is designed with the environment in mind. Our eco partnerships will allow our sanctuary to have Zero net emissions.
